My Favorite Garlic Syrup Recipes

Simple recipe for colds and sore throats – my kids grew up with this one  (older kids – not for babies and toddlers)

1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
¼ cup honey
2 cloves of garlic (remove the skin)
Blend everything in the blender.
Take 1 Tbsp every few hours

My current recipe adds some other potent ingredients for sore throats and colds

¼ cup vinegar (with the mother in it)
¼ cup fresh lemon juice
1/8 cup honey
½ tablespoon black pepper
1 tablespoon grated ginger
3-4 cloves of garlic
Blend everything in the blender.
Take by the Tablespoon every few hours.

You can experiment with different quantities to create your own recipe that is tolerable to your taste buds.
